Goodbye BloggingAboutJava/Oracle, welcome Blogging About Software Development!!

May 13th, 2008 at 10:55 am by Arjen van Schie

As of today two of Logica’s weblogs have been merged; BloggingAboutJava & BloggingAboutOracle. Both have been around for quite some time but since the internal movement of management to combine oracle and java into the Software Development Cluster, we decided it was time to merge the blogs.

We now have one blog with about 45 users and 290 blogposts. The old urls will remain, but both now point to the central merged blog.

For everyone at Logica who hasn’t signed up for a blog account this is your chance, use the contact form to sign up and claim your fame :-)

Not that I write that many posts but it’s a bit sad to go to bloggingaboutjava.org and post about Oracle. What about getting a more neutral URL? Is it possible to get RSS feeds that is divided in to Oracle and java posts? That way it will make more sense to sign the blog up for the Oracle blog rolls like OraNa

Peter, your comment about the URL being java related; this is just temporary (I hoped the announcement already explained this).
The blog will be relaunched with a more common URL/name soon…
