NetBeans Download NetBeans IDE 5.0 Beta, the release that introduces comprehensive support for developing IDE modules and rich client applications based on the NetBeans Platform, the new intuitive GUI builder Matisse, new and redesigned CVS support, Weblogic9 and JBoss 4 support, and a lot of editor enhancements.

    Netbeans is heading up! I’m using it more and more. Somehow eclipse seems to screw some things big time and when doing web application development eclipse is missing the boat (unless you have your hand full of plugins up and running). But the only thing that keep me hooked onto eclipse are those fabulous refactoring tools. Lately I’ve found myself running Netbeans *and* eclipse on the same project. The first to do regular development, the second to follow the disciplines of refactoring all the time. And it works, as long as you have enough memory available. Both IDE’s do not bite. Curious how Netbeans 5 is doing with respect to refactoring.
